We as humans live in the 3rd dimension which is the human /materialistic dimension, the next step is the 4th which is a more spiritual world of magic and the 5th and last dimension is heaven, the final destination of our soul. Being on different level so to speak explains why when we are stuck here in the 3rd we cannot see others who are on a different level then you.
